sagitario hostal in ciutadella, menorca exceeded our expectations. a cheap hire car was arranged by the helpful staff. good, clean, friendly, central place, walking distance to everything.

The hostel is in a good location for Ciutadella's restuarants and shops and it offers value for money. The room was clean and tidy and with a TV & air conditioning offers a good level of facilities for a hostal.

The staff weren't particularly friendly and our complaint about a problem with the fuse box in our room was simply ignored. The room was very small.

The location was super convenient, allowing us to explore the historic center and check out some amazing spots like the Cathedral and the Ciudadela de Menorca. The tour desk at the hotel made it super easy for us to plan our adventures and make the most of our time. And let's not forget those breathtaking sunsets by the inlet path towards the port - definitely Instagram-worthy!

The only thing we wished for as lively party-goers was a more vibrant nightlife scene closer to the hotel. It would have been awesome to have some cool bars or clubs within walking distance to keep the party going after the sun went down.

The room was recently renovated and spotless.They kindly let me park my bicycle indoors.

Staff's English skills were rather basic. Also there was some traffic noise but not too much.

The Hotel is perfect located, the bed was really comfortable. We slept and didn't realize how fast the night passed by. I recommend it to others.

Conveniently located near three public parkings, within 8 minutes walking distance to the city center and commercial areas. Warm and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Good selection of European breakfast with flavored cakes and a coffee machine.

Great location in a wonderful city. Friendly staff. We had an apartment, and I wish we had used it more to cook, etc. The restaurants in the area are great, but so was the food we saw in the markets.

I know this sounds like a spoiled 21st century traveler, but it would be great if they could get the wi-fi in the rooms as well as in the lobby and dining room. We could have saved some time if we could have checked email, etc., in the room. But I'm happy they had internet at all, and the connection they had was a good one. (Whatever you do, don't try using something called "MenorcaWiFi.com" (or something like that) that you can pick up in the rooms. I paid for a week, and at least in summer 2011 it was terrible.)

Good location, nice rooms, 24 hour reception but a bit expensive for the value/price relationship.

Great location on the edge of the old city, near the local market. Clean and well-presented, with friendly staff. Offered an apartment instead of a room, which was excellent value. Some noise from motorcycles. A good place to stay in Ciutadella.

It was a great, clean, comfortable hostal with a great location! I really like this hostal.

The staff took a very long time when I needed help, which I understand but even when it wasn't busy I found myself waiting for nothing in particular

Clean, good friendly atmosphere, well situated (near town center but not too close so not too noisy).

Very clean rooms and bathroom, with regular towel and bed sheet changes. Friendly and helpful staff, making you feel like part of the family.- The location was fantastic, right in the center of the city, making it easy to explore.

The lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep at night with the windows open, as the noise from outside was quite loud. The breakfast options were limited and not very satisfying.

Most of the staff were quite nice. After a while they didn't seem to care about anything. They handed out the wrong room keys on numerous occasions. 4 beds crammed in to a tiny room. No space to put luggage- no room to walk in the room which was pathetic

sagitario hostal in ciutadella was an amazing find for our honeymoon. the staff was attentive, making us feel like we were in a 3* hotel. the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the port and close to the main placas. we will definitely be back soon.

Parking was hard to find nearby.
